Introducing Taskmaster
This term we started our own Taskmaster Journey with 'Taskmaster Education'.
"Taskmaster Education takes the joy and silliness out of the hit Channel 4 TV show and uses it with children to promote teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and communication skills."
For term one and our first Task Master challenge, we were given the task to re-create famous landmarks in the outdoors using only natural resources.
This is the first of six tasks that our school will be set by the Taskmaster. We will receive a new task at the beginning of each school term.
What did the children think of the first Task Master Challenge?
Amelia from Elm Class - "I enjoyed building with others"
Teddy from Beech Class -"I liked that we got to build, get muddy and be outdoors"
Avalon from Yew Class -"I liked that we got to work with the different year groups"
Ruby from Kestrel Class -"It was more fun than being in class learning, I liked playing with sticks and digging"
Grace from Kestrel Class -"I liked working with the children from the younger years, I made a new friend in year 5."
Jenson from Owl Class - "I enjoyed it because we got to be outside instead of being in the classroom"
Albie from Seal Class - "It was so much fun building with materials"
Elsie from Dolphin Class -"It was fun, and it helped build my confidence working in STEAM Teams."
Samuel from Dolphin Class - "It was very good, it was inclusive".
We hope you enjoy seeing all of what we got up to whilst participating on our Taskmaster journey. The Task Master Photo Gallery can be found using the link shown on the right side of this page 'Task Master Photo Gallery'.
